CCNY Standard Warranty:
Depot warranty includes 90 days minimum on computer components, one year on refurbished Sun workstations and servers, and two years on Sun Embedded or custom workstations and servers. This warranty includes telephone technical support and defective part replacement. Technical and RMA department telephone assistance is available between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time), Monday through Friday, excluding CCNY holidays. Exception to the depot warranty is equipment offered on an "as is" basis.
An extended warranty is available and may be purchased at the time of sale, during, or at the end of an existing warranty time period. The extended warranty period must be purchased in 12-month increments.
Out of Warranty Repair:
If a defective part or system is no longer within the established warranty period, CCNY shall charge a nominal fee for evaluation and repair of the reported problem. Any replacement or additional parts needed for a successful repair shall be billed to the customer. Customers will be given a quote on repair costs prior to a repair being completed.
